Quiet Luxury: How Custom Woodwork Transformed This Villa

Our latest project—a sprawling multi-story villa—is the perfect example of this. The client didn't want ornate decorations. They wanted clean lines, warm textures, and absolute precision.
This is the story of how our custom furniture factory used high-end fixed joinery (woodwork) to create a masterpiece of modern living.
It’s All About the Walls (and What’s Hidden)
In modern design, the walls are the furniture. For the main living areas, we moved away from paint and wallpaper. Instead, we installed floor-to-ceiling custom wall paneling.
Take a look at the media wall. This isn't just a cabinet; it's a seamless architectural element. We used premium light wood veneers with a matte finish to create a soft, inviting atmosphere. Notice the precision? The gaps are hair-thin. The storage is hidden. It feels effortless, but as any designer knows, "effortless" is the hardest thing to build.
Mastering the Curves
Straight lines are great, but curves show true skill. In the hallway leading to the elevator, we combined contrasting wood tones—rich dark walnut framing against lighter panels. Check out the curved corners. Wrapping wood veneer around a curve without cracking or peeling is a technical challenge that our factory team nailed perfectly. It turns a boring elevator entrance into a high-end hotel lobby experience.
Texture and Detail: The Fluted Door
A door is usually just a way to get in and out. But in this project, the doors are art. We crafted incredible double doors featuring a fluted (ribbed) wood texture. The vertical lines add height and texture to the space, breaking up the flat surfaces without being "noisy." This level of detail requires advanced CNC machinery and skilled hand-finishing—capabilities that set EKAR apart from standard suppliers.
